2016 event included:- Vintage Vehicles, Military Displays, Real Ale Bar, Model Exhibitions, Art & Craft Marquee, Vintage Fair Rides, Children’s Entertainment, Pets’ Corner, Punch and Judy, Arena Events (over 1200 exhibits)
Flypasts by a Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane & Dakota
Over the last 37 years Rushden Cavalcade has evolved from a small gathering of vehicles taking part in a parade around Rushden High Street, into the Rally that starts the season, bringing together over 1,000 different exhibit's from all over country and attracting over 25,000 visitors annually there's something for everybody to see and do from Traction Engines & Vintage Vehicles, to Fun Fair Rides & Trade Stands. Fun for all the family to enjoy.
This event has been staged since 1978 by Rushden Historical Transport Society (Registered Charity No 285535) to raise funds for the development of the Rushden Transport Museum run by the Society and the expansion of the Railway Activities of the Society.
